CREW’s “Green Feet” Program

18 Carpoolers earn incentives at January program

banner imageWhile many of us have not easily (or legally) utilized the HOV-lanes on Georgia-400 during our morning commutes, we can now participate in CREW’s “Green Feet” program through carpooling and taking MARTA to CREW’s monthly luncheons. CREW’s new green “Green Feet” will take full effect in 2010 and reward participating members both with recognition and incentives. Consistent with the goals of the Clean Air Campaign, CREW Atlanta’s new program is a significant step toward empowering our members to improve participation, to improve air quality and to reduce traffic congestion. 33 participants car-pooled or used alternative transportation to attend our February lunch program. Furthermore, taking advantage of the online rideshare directory (coming soon to the PPI blog) will provide yet another opportunity to extend and strengthen our relationships within our network.

Participant Incentives:

  • $5 credit toward a future 2010 meeting will be awarded to each carpooler and MARTA rider. This credit is non-transferable.
  • Free parking will be provided to the carpool driver.

The guidelines for 2010 are as follows:

  • Must be a current CREW Atlanta member to participate and receive incentives.
  • Incentives will be provided for carpooling or riding MARTA to a monthly program.
  • All participants must check in at the HOV Lane during registration at the monthly program.
  • All participants will receive a "Green Feet" sticker to be placed on their luncheon nametag.
  • All participants will receive recognition from the podium during the program.
