The Membership Committee is responsible for helping engage new and existing members in CREW, by attending luncheons and special events, and through committee participation. We recognize the importance of committee participation for engaging our membership as a means for creating value for the organization and our members.
The Membership Committee brings new members into CREW-Atlanta. The Committee members seek to build a membership that is diverse in experience, profession, and culture, and with individuals who will actively participate in the organization. The Committee is pro-active in its recruitment of new members as well as the retention of existing members.
The Membership Committee also hosts new member luncheons quarterly, briefing new members on the benefit of CREW and allowing new members the chance to get to know some of the board and committee members. Projects include membership renewals, the production of the membership directory, tracking/follow-up of the distribution of membership information packages, and monthly luncheon greeting, nametag distribution, and new-member info package distribution to those interested prospective members attending the lunch.
